Xiaofeng Fang is an Associate Professor at the School of Life Sciences, Tsinghua University. He received his PhD in Molecular Biology from the National Institute of Biological Sciences (NIBS), Beijing, in 2015. He subsequently conducted postdoctoral research at Tsinghua University and the John Innes Centre (UK), where he investigated transcriptional regulation and RNA biology in plants. Xiaofeng established his independent research group at Tsinghua University in 2020. His laboratory focuses on understanding how biomolecular condensates and phase transitions enable plants to perceive, respond to, and memorize abiotic environmental stresses, integrating approaches from cell biology, biophysics, and plant molecular genetics.
