Martin Farley is currently the Associate Director of Environmental Sustainability at UKRI. He has worked extensively around sustainable research for over a decade, and founded the LEAF programme. He initiated sustainable science programmes at Edinburgh, King’s College London, and UCL, and has worked as consultant through his company Green Lab Associates. His work has been recognized through the EMBO award for sustainable laboratories in 2024.
