João Cardoso is a science and health communicator and science storyteller with more than 7 years of experience, who bridges creativity and research to make complex ideas accessible. A molecular biologist and neuroscientist with a PhD in health communication acquired in both Portugal and Japan, and a deep background in multimedia content creation, he has led and managed projects across languages (Portuguese, English, Japanese) that boosted health literacy, promoted public engagement, and created storytelling approaches about biomedical research, within strategic communication for health, education, and social impact. Working as a full-time science communication and content creator at VIB-KU Leuven Center for Neuroscience since 2025.
