Head of Deep Visual Proteomics at OmicVision, DK
Lisa Schweizer earned her B.Sc. and M.Sc. from the Technical University of Munich before completing her Ph.D. with Prof. Matthias Mann at the Max Planck Institute of Biochemistry. Her doctoral research focused on clinical and spatial proteomics in COVID-19 and ovarian cancer, the latter in collaboration with the University of Chicago. In 2021, she received the research award of the German Society for Pathology for her mass-spectrometry–based multi-organ proteomic profiling of COVID-19 autopsies. As Head of Deep Visual Proteomics at OmicVision Biosciences, she is now working to bridge mass-spectrometry–driven discovery and translational proteomics into the clinic.
